How we engage

Urban Planning is never a one person show.
We collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to create long-lasting impact in improving the urban ecology.

We aid Government Institutions in complex decision-making, impact evaluation, democratization of public data, and development of robust methodologies to streamline urban systems. We are currently working with the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and Mangalore City Corporation (MCC), primarily on strategy to implement source segregation and decentralized management of municipal solid waste.

We help NGOs scale projects and solutions, de-risk and strategize efforts leading up to the set vision and visualize the big picture knowledge of urban systems. Our non-profit partners include the Selco Foundation, Anti-Pollution Drive, and Sensors Without Borders.

We empower and inform citizens of their role in urban governance systems thus helping build strong community groups. We have worked with “I Change Indiranagar” — a federation of resident welfare associations in Indiranagar — a neighbourhood in Bengaluru to implement neighbourhood signage. We are working with resident welfare associations in BTM Layout — another neighbourhood in Bengaluru — on a study of factors that implement local air quality.

We share our practical field learnings with academic institutions and researchers to collectively build open knowledge on workings of urban systems. We have partnered with St. Joseph University, Christ University, and BMS College in the course of our various research projects.

We help companies innovate and optimize solutions while getting them onboard with knowledge of government mechanisms and domain knowhow if needed.
