Role overview
We’re looking for a Junior Urban Planner who enjoys working with maps, data, and real-world urban challenges. This is a 1-year contract role, designed as an intensive learning and contribution experience. High-performing candidates will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position at the end of the term.

You’ll work closely with the team on projects related to:

Sustainable mobility

Walkability and public spaces

Participatory planning

Climate-responsive urban systems

What you will be doing​

Work on GIS-based research, mapping, and spatial analysis
-
Support data collection (both field-based and secondary data)
-
Analyse spatial datasets (vector/raster) to identify patterns and insights
-
Translate data into clear maps, visuals, and narratives
-
Contribute to reports, presentations, and digital outputs
-
Participate in field visits, stakeholder interactions, and workshops
-
Take ownership of specific tasks within projects and see them through end-to-end

What you need to excel​
Skills & Tools:

Working knowledge of GIS tools (QGIS, Google Earth, MyMaps, etc.)

Ability to work with spatial data and generate meaningful outputs

Basic understanding of urban systems, mobility, or planning processes

Familiarity with tools like KoboToolbox, ODK, Mergin Maps is a plus
-
Exposure to plugins (e.g., QuickOSM, qgis2web) or Space Syntax is a bonus

Bachelor’s in Architecture / Urban Planning / Geography / Related fields

Master’s in Urban Planning / Transport / Environmental Planning or allied disciplines

Role overview
We are looking for a Business and Operations Associate to support the founders in managing the organisation’s day-to-day operations and growth activities.
​
This is an early-career, high-learning role for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable handling a mix of responsibilities across business development, operations, and team coordination.
​
You will work closely with the founders and gain exposure to how a growing organisation is built and managed.
​​
What you will be doing​

Business Development Support: Track relevant opportunities (RFPs, proposals, partnerships), support proposal preparation (documents, coordination, formatting), and communications.

Operations & Coordination - Support day-to-day coordination across projects and team members, organise workflows and time, and maintain documentation

Finance & Administrative Support - Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, expense records and budget tracking for projects

HR & Team Support - Assist with recruitment coordination (scheduling, communication), documentation and onboarding

Founder’s Office Support - Assist founders in tracking key tasks and priorities, preparation of presentations/reports, etc.

Role overview
We are looking for a Part-Time Social Media & Content Associate to build and manage our digital presence. This role combines content strategy, writing, and visual storytelling. You will work closely with the founders to translate ongoing projects, insights, and ideas into engaging content across platforms.

What you will be doing​

Social Media Strategy - Develop a monthly content plan aligned with ongoing projects and themes, identify key narratives (e.g., heat resilience, mobility, public spaces) and content formats.

Content Creation - Write clear, engaging captions and short-form content, and create visual content (static posts, simple graphics, carousels). Translate reports/projects into accessible, public-facing content, including supporting basic video content (reels, short clips, edits).

Platform Management - Manage platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter (X), following a consistent posting rhythm (e.g., 2–3 posts/week).

Documentation & Storytelling - Work with the team to gather content from projects, identify relevant stories and maintain a simple repository of content (photos, drafts, ideas).

Basic Analytics & Iteration - Track engagement metrics (likes, shares, reach), and create improvements based on performance.
